Small boutique hotel in London´s centre
As you walk up the steps towards the entrance of Durley House, an elegant London hotel, you could actually believe that you were walking into the hallway of a private residence. The wood panelling invites you through to the homely reception area, where you are met by the warmth of the glowing fireplace, surrounded by cushioned fenders, asking you to sit and rest those weary feet.
A portrait of Lord Durley looks on - holding many secrets surrounding the history of Durley House. Just off to the right, you are enticed into the cosy sitting room - ideal for taking afternoon tea after an exhaustive day shopping, or perhaps just simply to help yourself to an aperitif from the private bar, before setting out for an evening´s entertainment at the theatre or to dine at one of London´s many restaurants.
The grand staircase leading from reception soon whisks you away to another world - that of the splendour and comfort of the eleven elegantly furnished suites.
How to find Durley House
Durley House is on Sloane Street, Knightsbridge, opposite private gardens and a short walk from both Sloane Square and Knightsbridge underground stations.
This London hotel is also easily accessible from London´s main train stations, and also from London's City, Gatwick and Heathrow airports, whether by taxi, train or limousine.

Intimate and private dining, full of charm
Although we have no restaurant, Durley House offers the luxury of 24 hour room service with dishes prepared by our own excellent chef, delivered to your suite by a traditional 'dumb waiter' service lift and served by your butler in your suite.
For the ultimate private dining experience, you can choose to eschew the butler service, simply choosing to remove your repast from the 'dumb waiter' as required.
Over and above breakfast, lunch and dinner, Durley House also has the flexibility to prepare midnight snacks, private picnics in the gardens and even home-made brownies and popcorn to accompany your in-house movie.
Celebrity Chefs at Durley House hotel
In September 2004, Durley House teamed up with Sshh Events in order to launch the "Celebrity Chefs at Durley House" concept. This exclusive dining and catering concept provides in-house catering and fine dining services for guests at Durley House, all prepared by a celebrity chef, who will prepare individual menus for in-suite dining or outside catering.
