Welcome to The Ritz, a luxury palace hotel located in enviable surroundings, close to the Prado and the Thyssen Museum in the heart of Madrid.
Built in 1910 according to the wishes of King Alfonso XIII, The Hotel Ritz transformed Madrid from a small provincial town into one of the truly great European cities, able to receive visiting aristocracy and dignitaries in exquisite style and luxury.

The Ritz Madrid has 137 rooms and 30 suites, each of which has been individually designed and furnished with elegant antique furntiure, luxurious embroidered sheets, exclusive hand-woven rugs and indulgent, marble bathrooms.

What could be more enjoyable than traditional afternoon tea or light refreshments served in the majestic hotel lobby in the early evening.
The discreet atmosphere and service that you would expect of a grand hotel allows you to enjoy the gentle sounds of our pianist, harpist, or classical Spanish guitarist.
Enjoy a selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, fine pastries and traditional English scones, accompanied by a selection of jams, clotted cream and of course tea of the finest varieties worldwide.
Tea is served between 16:30 and 19:00.
GOYA RESTAURANT
The highly acclaimed Goya Restaurant Madrid offers a gourmet menu of Spanish delicacies prepared with the finest seasonal ingredients, based on traditional recipies.
This menu is complimented by a variety of creative dishes, original in concept and presentation influenced by French and Basque Cuisine. The creator of this Cuisine is our chef Jorge González, toghether with his greatly skilled culinary team.
Offering attentive service and a superb selection of wines, the Goya Restaurant in Madrid offers a truly wonderful experience to its patrons.
