The Hotel
Housed in a stunning listed 19th century structure, The College Hotel Amsterdam was originally built in 1895 as a school. The College Hotel and restaurant in Amsterdam pays homage to this scholastic tradition - the staff are all students of the Amsterdam Hotel Management School, Bakery and Tourism, working under the expert eye of experienced professionals.
Balancing technological facilities with discreet aspects of modern design, you will enjoy a truly eclectic and idiosyncratic hotel; from high ceilings to oversized period fireplaces and sweeping staircases, The College Hotel is markedly different. The hotel also has spacious and stylish meeting and events spaces ideal for private meetings, dinners and weddings. The gourmet College Restaurant is a noted culinary destination in its own right, serving artfully rendered Dutch cuisine.
THECOLLEGEHOTEL is situated in the residential Amsterdam Oud Zuid area (South/center), within walking distance of the Musuem Square with its Concert Building and the main museums such as the Rijksmuseum, Museum Vincent van Gogh and the Stedelijk Museum.
Furthermore, attractions such as the Vondelpark, the exclusive shopping street PC Hooftstraat and the upcoming fashionable neigbourhood "De Pijp" are only a stroll away.
Right in front of the hotel is a tram stop, which can take you to all directions in Amsterdam. Also within walking distance are the city's nightlife hotspots, theatres and cinemas.
Schiphol International Airport is at a distance of 10 KM (6.2 miles) from the hotel, a 15-minute drive. THECOLLEGEHOTEL has its own parking spaces.

For those of you with a sybaritic side, The College Restaurant offers dishes born of classical Dutch cuisine, married with contemporary perspective to offer carefully crafted gourmet fare, created by Executive Chef Pepijn Schut and his team.
Situated in the restored, period school gymnasium of The College Hotel, a 19th century school building, light and space is balanced, in an open plan kitchen and round tables seating up to 65 guests. The gastronomic restaurant of the College Hotel offers an inspiring and playful menu created from taste sensations the chef experienced in his childhood - ingredients such as cinnamon, anise, pepper, note, nutmeg and mace are thoughtfully infused in many dishes.

THECOLLEGEHOTEL is perfectly placed in Amsterdam's Oud Zuid for Meetings, Events and Conferences. The luxury hotel and gourmet restaurant can also cater to weddings and other assignations and staff will provide intelligent, accurate service.

The Coster Salon
The Coster Salon can welcome 12 guests for a cocktail party, private lunch or dinner.
The Vondel Salon
The Vondel Salon can be booked for cocktail parties, unique private lunches or dinners for up to 16 guests. It even has its own private terrace that makes it possible to have an aperitif outside.
The P.C. Hooft Salon
The P.C. Hooft Salon and its classy ambiance is a great setting for exclusive lunches or dinners (up to 36 guests at one table) or receptions up to 100 guests.
The Courtyard
The Courtyard is a wonderful setting for exclusive cocktail parties up to 100 guests.

Canal Cruises
Canal Bus is the perfect way of getting around on water in Amsterdam with its wealth of waterways. The comfortable boats offer a regular service along three routes with fourteen stops located near the major museums, shopping areas and attractions. The nearest stop is at the Rijksmuseum.
Diamonds
An opportunity to see the craftsmen at Gassan Diamonds turning rough stones into polished diamonds. The tours are free and multilingual. For those who are interested in purchasing, this can be done after the tour. Ask your concierge to arrange this for you.
Limo service
A car with driver can be arranged for you at any time of the day.
You could also consider a city tour with a qualified guide for the whole day.

Located near the vicinity are the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum.
